Over the last few months I have been looking into climate change.

My journey has been fascinating. I have listened to people on all sides and have been touched by the scale of emotion and uplifted by people’s willingness to change things before it is too late.

Much of my time has been spent looking at Royal Dutch Shell, one of the biggest polluters on the planet, following a ruling in a court in the Hague which stated that their ambitions to get to net zero carbon emissions by 2050 amount to “intangible, undefined and non-binding plans”.

Above all, what I take away is the conviction that new all need to educate ourselves as much as we possibly can and to be better informed. The more we know, the less likely we are to be confused by the messaging presented to us and the better equipped we will be to know what is really being done to ensure we have inhabitable world in the future.
